History

Outrigger canoes were first constructed and used by the people of southeast Asia Barkevious Mingo Jersey , approximately 30,000 years ago. It was used simply to catch food, feed small to large communities and to explore the vast ocean to find new land to dwell. Many of these men and woman, that explored and located these new continents and islands by mere wooden canoes which we call outrigger canoes today, had left footprints in certain parts of the world such as Hawaii, Tahiti and New Zealand. These footprints today are being studied from these island country’s mainly to preserve and trace there ancestral roots and to implement and construct certain items such as the canoe to ultimately pass on this knowledge onto future generations so they understand when, where and how they came to be within the country.

The main construction of a canoe consist a hull which paddlers and or items are situated and a AMA or outrigger which is also connected to the hull by two spars or connectors that keep the whole canoe horizontally stable and increases hydroma tic speed. Outrigger canoes can be powered by human input or equip with petrol engines for commercial and economical, reasons.

As a sport

The first outrigger canoe race was held in Hawaii in 1917. Raced on 1,2,4,6 and 12 man canoes, canoe racing has two main race divisions. Sprint paddling, where the most common races are 500m,1500m and 2500m in length and marathon racing (5km +). For races over 30km, crews can have up to 9 people, where 6 paddle at one time and paddlers are “substituted” off for rests when required. These types of races are called “Change over” races, and involve paddlers requiring rest to jump off the boat and the replacement paddlers to take their place, all while the canoe is still in motion.

Health Benefits

It’s not only a fun and great way to get fit and to socialize it has also been used as a tool to help preventminimize a number of things from obesity, diabetes and depression to social problems such as youth at risk. Outrigger canoeing is a great sport promoting team work, fitness and fun and because of this Outrigger canoeing is likely to have a lasting future within the pacific and beyond for years to come because of the main benefits this sport has to offer for all walks of life.

There are at least five general categories of home care services. Some home care agencies may provide only some or all of these services and a caregiver may offer more than one of these services:

Housewife services refer to support provided in the management of a senior's house such as light cleaning, grocery shopping, changing beds and laundry. Personal Care Services refers to care provided to the elderly in some activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, dressing, eating, going to the bathroom, and getting around. Meal Services refers to the provision of meals to the elderly in their homes or in nursing homes, schools, churches, and other community areas. Home Health Care Services is a term used to refer to services given to seniors who have medical difficulties that need to be treated at home. House health aides provide help to the Companionship for Seniors with basic health care, such as changing dressings and dressings, taking vital signs, and helping with medications. Specialized health care services, such as rehabilitation therapies and skilled nursing care, are provided by practical nurses, registered nurses, physical, occupational, and speech therapists. When is home care necessary?

Knowing what home care is is only part of the equation. Knowing the right time to hire home care services is equally important. An assessment of care may be necessary to help determine the right time. By themselves, caregivers can evaluate the type of elderly care needed or can get help from a geriatric care manager.

A Personal Care for Seniors in halifax can help assess the condition of your older child by carefully examining their ability to manage daily life activities as well as their physical and mental health. The activities of daily living refer to the daily tasks necessary for the personal care of your elder and proper management of your home. The following is a checklist to help you determine memory problems and physical limitations that affect your student's ability to:

- Do household chores, go shopping, do the laundry and cook

- Perform personal care, such as bathing, dressing, dressing and going to the bathroom.

-Management of medications and medical appointments

-Deal with legal issues and personal finances

Developing an effective home health care plan also requires careful assessment of your child's physical and mental condition. To assess these physical and mental abilities, it may be necessary to obtain advice from a geriatric specialist or senior adult care physician. Some of the issues that need to be considered are:

- Mobility: As a person grows older, moving around his own home and community becomes more and more challenging for him.

Vision: Several seniors have difficulties with their eyesight, which often leads to fall injuries, less social interaction, depression and lower quality of life. Since the elderly generally do not tell their health care providers about their vision problems, a vision test may be necessary.

-Hearing: Many older adults also have hearing problems and this can have an impact on their condition of life. The use of assistive technology may be necessary to help them cope with this health problem. Hearing aids and cochlear implants are recommended in the treatment of basic hearing loss, whereas more specialized medical treatment may be necessary. The China Property Forum is an economics and finance forum dedicated to discussion of Chinese and global real estate markets, including China house prices, global house prices, housing affordability, and the likelihood of a global house price crash or China house price crash. Is there a Chinese housing bubble? Will house prices crash, boom or stagnate? Is it better to buy using a home loan, or rent and save the difference? How might a credit crunch or peak debt environment impact Chinese property prices? Is the Chinese property market a pyramid scheme or Ponzi scheme? Can house prices rise forever as people bet on future gains, refinance their mortgage and borrow against equity, or can we find a more sustainable long term approach to managing the Chinese housing market? These are the type of questions we hope to address here, at the China Property Forum, the premier real estate site for property bears, bulls, investors, and speculators! Whether you're a Property Investor, First Home Buyer (FHB) or you're a happily renting tenant, this forum has something for everyone. The forum includes a blog feature, so members may create their own property blog.
